NREL tested solar-control glazing and other cooling strategies in two Ford Focus Electric vehicles. Lower cabin heat enabled reduced cooling energy in controlled tests. These findings support the cooling principle, not a promised range increase from this package.

How does the $100 credit work?
Apply it to eligible additional upgrades or services on the same vehicle at your promotional appointment. The credit cannot pay for the $199 package, has no cash value, is nontransferable and cannot combine with other discounts, credits, coupons or promotions. Unused credit is forfeited. Present your order confirmation at your appointment.
Which windows and vehicles qualify?
The package covers up to five qualifying rear-side/rear windows behind the front seating area. Most cars, trucks, minivans and SUVs may qualify; glass configuration and eligibility vary. Classic, modified, lifted and specialty vehicles shown in the preview may not qualify. Confirm specialty-vehicle eligibility with the shop before purchase. Front windows, windshield, sunroofs, moonroofs, panoramic roofs, specialty/oversized glass and old film removal are excluded. Installation must comply with applicable laws and vehicle limitations.
